Hi guys,

just a quick travel update for anyone who's based within NYC area and want to catch up in person, me and my better half will be in a city from tomorrow until 13th February.

  

This is one of my on-going projects. I've started working on this series in the spring 2013.



I found it quite interesting to combine advertisement and especially its fragments with commuting Londoners.



Or short phrases that would somehow explain the mood or perhaps complement a particular stranger.



Mostly shot on 35mm film with 200mm lens.





As a street photographer my aim is to keep the series as candid as possible.



There is so much happening on the buses, you wouldn't believe.



..there is a lot of dreamers





..future lovers



..selfie victims



..a lot of curiosity



..loneliness





..you never know what does it mean



..to be a girl, but you can always do a bit of excercise



..to observe



..to think



..or just play around.



..because you are Londoner



..you blend in



..and "the whole world could just dissolve into a glass of water"

.. it took me a long while to decide whether I want to join this fast growing community or not. In the end I went for it and I use my instagram as a basic communication with the outside world through a daily snapshots from the streets or anything that catches my eye. So this is just a quick journal to share a different kind of shots (yes, I know - they are mostly colourful! ) I take

-Tell us a little about yourself.
Hello everybody & thank you very much for having me here. It means a lot to me and it is a great honor. I'm London based photographer, born and bred in former Czechoslovakia. My grandpa was an engineer and my dad had a building company so I was always more or less expected to study Engineering and Architecture. I think it gave me a good foundation for compostition as I always loved geometry and drawing. From architecture and drawing, photography was the next logical way to express myself.
-How did your relationship with Photography begin and how has it developed through the years?

You have your very own idea of a the beauty and little fragments that surround us, hurt us and take us to a completely brand new world created by us. Your photographs (and I dare to call them photographs rather than pictures or snaps) are the mirror image of your inner beauty. I've been watching your work for quite a long time and I am really glad that you keep down to Earth .. in the place where the photographer was a craftman not an employee with tremendous skills in Adobe products.

Tia, si pre mna umelkyna, ktora ma svoju vlastnu viziu krasy a veci, ktore nas v zivote trapia a zaroven posuvaju dalej. Tvoje fotografie (a zamerne ich nenazyvam obrazkami alebo fotkami) su pre mna zrkadlom Tvojho skryteho vnutra. Tvoju pracu s ohromnym zaujmom sledujem uz zopar rokov a som strasne rad, ze na Slovenku je niekolko fotografov, ktori sa drzia remesla a nepresli iba na digitalne pole, kde kazdy s priemernou znalostou produktov Adobe, dokaze byt umelec.
